One of the many cool things about being part of Do Good Music is all the really good artists we get to hear who are pretty much unknown. It's like being at a major record label but not having to reject anyone. How cool is that?

So we figured we'd share the wealth and let you hear some of those artists, too, creating what we like to call a win-win-win-win-win situation. But since we can't figure out those last two wins, we'll just call it win-win-win instead. You win because you get to hear artists before the rest of the world does; they win because they get more exposure and more fans; and we win because we love to get more good music into people's ears.

The way we're doing that is with a podcast called Catch A Rising Star. It's music and more -- songs, links, and questions with answers. We want you to hear these folks, but even more than that we want you to meet them, find out the name of their pet turtle, and find out how they got to be big enough (or good enough) to get on this show in the first place.

BTW, if you know someone who should be interviewed on Catch A Rising Star -- in other words a performer, song writer, producer, etc., who has what it takes and, in your opinion (unless you are his/her family member) is really, really, really good -- then send us some info and we'll consider them. And we'll even give you the credit on the show for "discovering" them!
